2. Made-to-Order Craftsmanship

All Plato Jewelry pieces are made to order. Each design is handcrafted specifically for the customer based on their selected ring size, chain length, or specifications.

Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), made-to-order and personalized items are legally exempt from the right of return.

3. Handcrafted in Greece

All jewelry is designed and crafted in Greece by skilled artisans using traditional techniques combined with modern precision.

4. Natural Gemstones & Ethical Sourcing

We use only natural gemstones, ethically sourced and prepared by our in-house Greek gem cutter.
Because they are natural, gemstones may display slight variations in color, clarity, and form.

5. 18K Solid Gold

All jewelry is made using 18K solid gold — never gold-plated, vermeil, or gold-filled.
Variations in texture or appearance may occur due to the nature of handcrafted materials.

6. Product Information

While we strive for accuracy in photography, descriptions, and measurements, slight variations may occur due to:

  • Natural gemstones

  • Handcrafted details

  • Lighting conditions

  • Screen differences

We reserve the right to update product details, prices, photos, or availability at any time.

7. Orders

When an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email.
An order is considered accepted once payment is successfully processed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to:

  • Payment issues

  • Suspected fraud

  • Lack of material availability

  • Incorrect pricing or technical errors

8. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in EUR (€).
Applicable taxes and shipping costs appear at checkout.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, PayPal, or other listed payment providers.
We do not store full payment card details.

Full payment is required before production begins.

9. Production Time

All jewelry is made to order.
Typical production time is 2–4 weeks, depending on design complexity and material availability.

10. Shipping & Delivery

We ship both domestically and internationally using reputable courier services.
All shipments include tracking and insurance until delivery.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs processing

  • Shipping carriers

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Force majeure events

International Duties & Taxes

Customers outside the EU are responsible for any applicable import duties, customs fees, and state/local taxes, collected by the courier prior to delivery.

11. Returns & Refunds

Because each piece is custom crafted to order, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Exceptions apply only if:

  • The item arrives defective, or

  • The wrong item is delivered

In such cases, we will repair or replace the piece at no cost.
Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos.

12. Cancellations & Order Changes

Once production begins, orders cannot be canceled or modified, as materials and labor are allocated specifically to your piece.

13. Warranty & Repairs

Covered (Free Repair):

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Stone setting issues

  • Structural craftsmanship issues

Not Covered:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Accidental damage or misuse

  • Loss or theft

  • Incorrect size provided by the customer

Resizing and non-warranty repairs are available for an additional fee.

14. Intellectual Property

All photographs, jewelry designs, logos, brand text, and website content are the exclusive property of Plato Jewelry.
Any reproduction, copying, or use without written permission is strictly prohibited.

15. Privacy & Data Protection

We comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Your personal data is used solely for:

  • Order processing

  • Communication

  • Legal compliance

We never sell or share personal information with third parties except when necessary for shipping and payment processing.

16. Governing Law
